I liked the concept behind Becoming a Chess Master, "A Class B player's quest to become a National Chess Master." Too bad the last post (as I write) is June 18, 2003. I'd like to hear more of the adventures of an ambitious amateur on the way to something more.
Mig Greengard's Daily Dirt column at ChessNinja.com feels much like a blog. His newest column explores the problems with FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov's proposal to award the right to host the next world championship to Libya. Thanks to James Eade's Chessblog for the link.
Tennessee state champ Peter Bereolos has an interesting new blog, Shakmaty Bereolos. I like the section of annotated games vs. GMs.
